Tread marks help

Tread Marks won't start, and I get the following message. Could not initialize acceptable openGl rendering context.

I've had this problem before and my mom fixed it she doesn't remember how but until i reinstalled my video driver everything worked. Help, and please put it in easy to understand terms as I am not a computer expert by any stretch of the word.

Typically this happens when somebody hasn't installed a video driver.

What sort of video card do you have, and where did you get the new driver from?

Yeah, I had this problem when I upgraded to windows XP, the computer lost open GL and I had to install my graphics card drivers.

Okay, a few questions to help me diagnose the problem:
* Which model is your card?
* Which version of Windows do you use?
* Just to confirm, you did have Tread Marks running on this card before?

Windows XP

And yes it has worked since I got Tm in 04.

Version .09 is certainly a bit old. Try updating your drivers. You should be able to go to their driver download page here, then select Windows XP->IGP Graphics Drivers->SiS 630 & SiS 730 series, then hit Go. From here, download version 2.09 and install that.
