I was broswing through slipknot songs, then decided to look through symphony orchestra songs and at random I found the hymn for the red october(good movie, and book) I was stunned that I found it at random. then I found that john Williams did a countless number of albums for movies, such as harry potter, munich, ET(I knew) jerassic park(i knew)

then I looked at my home symphony orchestra The chicago symphony orchestra. they played in fantasia 2000.(usually I just watch it for the music lol)

the london symphony orchestra and john williams did all the sound tracks for starwars episode 1,2,3,4,5,6. which is cool.
then again at random I found howard shore, composer of red dragon, and somne other movbies, including the Lord of the Rings trilogy (great books) then I found halo, 1 and 2 in the section (awsome music, good books great games, if you havent found out Im a halo freak and goes nuts for mechassault 1, and 2..) crimson skies music was awsome. then I looked back at most of the music for the great movies. and said to myself symphony orchestrsa modivates the mood of it... being a tuba player. I am a m,usic fan-atic Very Happy that listens to slipknot, to symphony orchestra, to opera.... odd dont you think? whats your favorite?

Try overlapping Slipknot with opera or classical music, or overlapping something heavey with quitet patches, with something like the lord of the rings theme tune(s), and seeing what it sounds like. :P

I usually listen to The Edge (a local radio station that's actually in the same building as us) which gives me my fill of new music, but otherwise I'll listen to things like Nine Inch Nails, Nirvana, Greenday, Rage Against the Machine, Beastie Boys, Moist/David Usher, Alice in Chains... The Matrix soundtrack is also great for coding.

It's awfully silly to hate something simply because people you don't like enjoy it. It means you're indirectly letting them define you.

Anyway, you might as well stop breathing oxygen, because I'm fairly sure most of the people you don't like breathe that stuff.
