I installed the Addons selector program and added the various Addons folders (different names than just Addons) and then selected one of them and clicked on start and got "Cannot find directory 'TreadMarks 1.6'".
All the additions I added say TreadMarks 1.6 - not able to distinguish which is for which set of Addons and of course it gets the path error. I also have .NET installed with updates. What might need to be corrected to make this work properly? If you need any more information just ask.

Did you also set the tm.exe executable?

The "TM.EXE Executable" should contain the full path with the TM.exe file.

Mine shows:

C:\Program Files\Tread Marks 1.5\TM.exe

That what it uses to figure out the rest of the paths.

If you have that set and it still gives you the error, then please EMail me the entries in your registry.

you can do this by starting up reg edit and navigating to:
My Computer/HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software

Then highlight "TMAddOnsSelector" in the tree view, and then select the menu item "File->Export". That will save the "TMAddOnsSelector" node and all its subkeys. Zip up the file and email it to the mailing address listed in my profile.

Thanks :)

I did enter the path including the TM.exe file and still get the error. I will pull the registry keys when I get home tonight and email them to you. Thanks for the reply.

You have to have seperate addon folders for each collection of mods. then add the seperate addon folders to the selector but don't add the folder named addons . The folder however has to exist. The selector does not select between mods. It only allows you to choose for seperate addon folders. Also. the tool expects the addson folder to be at the same directory level as the tm.exe which you set by clicking browse on the bottom rigth of the screen.

Thats all I can think of off the top of my head. You'll need to tell me what you did in order to be of more help.

here's what you suppose to have done:

<location of Treadmarks folder>\addons\
<location of Treadmarks folder>\addons1\
<location of Treadmarks folder>\addons2\
<location of Treadmarks folder>\addons3\
<location of Treadmarks folder>\TM.EXE

You then put your mods into the 4 addons folders.

Then you add the following *3* folders to the selector:

<location of Treadmarks folder>\addons1\
<location of Treadmarks folder>\addons2\
<location of Treadmarks folder>\addons3\

You donot add
<location of Treadmarks folder>\addons\

to play with the addons folder you just start tm normally.

If you want to play using the other 3 mod folders, you start TM using the selector by double clicking on the folder in the list.

Again, the selector DOESNOT select between mods in the addons folder. It onlys switches between different addon folders.
