Haven't anything new yet, but working on it. Want to do some custom meshes, but the tools are proving hard to find. :( Wondering here if Blender can be used for the purpose, although that won't solve the UV-map issue.

another awesome tool to make maps is https://terrain.party/ makes them for you. good for quick maps of any location you want to game on

lithium unwrapper the new paid version, look that up. then grab photoshop, GIMP, Google Sketchup, maybe get yourself something like Rhino3D or 3D Studio, then start hacking away.

i had the same difficulty, mostly with texture mapping, and some animations.

the newer version of lithium unwrapper, with a new name has many more options. but you'll still need the old version.

i used this tool and it really helps i dug the net for this back in 2010 2012

the new version can open .3DS files and others, easily port them to .Lwo

many mods of mine 50% finished. if you got any ideas for making textures to map properly on the tanks, let me know.
