Hi I just started playing and have just attempted to destroy the first bridge in the tutorial, except after I believed it had been destroyed the objective has still not been completed and it says the bridge can't be destroyed due to a ceasefire when I click on it. Any advice or am I simply doing it wrong?

Ah, the tutorial assumes you haven't captured the bridge yet, and unfortunately the right-click way or destroying a bridge doesn't work when you already own the bridge. The work-around is to just select the bridge and use the "Destroy" button in the bottom right-hand corner.
