WHEW...! What was a mess!

You say you want the module track Beatwave in mp3? If that's indeed what you want, I'll gladly convert it and email it to you.

The musics are in MOD format which can be opened by WinAmp.

And if you are feeling intrepid, winamp also has the capability of converting them to wav format or mp3 format... although i'm not so sure with mp3...

Hello, I'm new on this forum...

I'm also very fond of Dx Ball 2 music game. I know several links to find more Sidewinder's music (the author of Dx ball music).

Here's it:
[url]http://amp.dascene.net/detail.php?detail=modules&view=6619</a>

[url]http://wuarchive.wustl.edu/pub/aminet/info/www/dirs/mods_sidew.html</a>

To listen these musics, it exist a good software: Deliplayer. [url]http://www.deliplayer.com/</a>
Unfortunately, it is no a freeware ($ 20) . However, the free version is a excellent player and maybe able to reading many audio formats.

But to convert MOD format into WAV, the best program is always Winamp.

Options->Preferences->Plug-ins->Output->Nullsoft Disk Writer plug-in v2.11->Configure->[choose your options]->Ok->Close->[lay the file and it will output a .wav instead of sound.]

Not really. mods don't work the same way as mp3s or wavs; instead of storing the bits of the entire song, they store recordings of the instruments used in the song and have instructions about when and how to play those instruments, so it's more like sheet music. Just like you can turn sheet music into sound (if you hire a band), it's very difficult to convert all the details of a sound in sheet music (a computer would have no idea what to do if you told it to sing these words like Kurt Cobain ).

Theoretically if you learned how to use a mod tracker you could make an instrument out of the song you want to convert and make a mod that simply plays that one instrument, but learning how to make mods isn't trivial, the files would be very big, inelegant, and might not work properly.
