This is probably a known bug, but the game sometimes crashes during combat in the Alpine passes. The message says something about a brigade not having enough space. So far about half the combats I've had in Alpine passes have resulted in this crash.

I too, believe it is a known bug, it happens sometimes on other occations as well.
