I want to start with - I am huge fan of total war and all of the series - Shogun, Rome, Medieval etc.
However I find "Rome 2" is a total disappointment .. :(

Can't wait to play Hegemony Rome... how can I apply for your beta testing process guys?
I live in Montreal so not too far :)

I would have to agree so far.....
After 3 patches it still needs quite a bit or work and content added to be deemed a TW game. I have had fun with the multiplayer but the campaign I havnt and will not touch until the game is patched quite a bit more.
Rome 2 TW so far is the disappointment of the year

If you ask me, the original Rome Total War with the Roma Surrectum mod applied beats Rome 2 Total War any day. I was one of those who pre-ordered and the night I first played it I was laughing, because I actually thought it was a joke.

Cant wait for Hegemony Rome to satisfy my Roman needs, and perhaps Paradox is also doing it's own Rome 2 grand strategy game as well. According to the Paradox forums, they're working on two new titles that will be announced in January and Rome 2 is a strong potential candidate.
