Well, here's the explanation; I moved the server from behind a POS Linksys (see gaping hole) router to a different ICSA certified though antiquated firewall. THis firewall was configured with a single IP but is providing certain dedicate service to another system. No matter what I did it would not look correct on the Master server even reported a bad port number for connectivity. So, I slowed the firewall down by adding one-to-one NAT giving the TM system a dedicate IP with only the TM ports and TMLogScan ports open with ping from the master server. Now it reports correctly.
Just realised I need to update TMLogScan.

Backbone provider has been having problems and Killier turning off LogScan ate a bunch of RAM.
