No other game I have played over the last 40 years has provided as much entertainment and the permutations of challenges that this simple Philip of Macedon campaign has provided. I have played so many times for days on end, only to realize a new strategy and start again. I have paused but I always come back.

On this permutation of the original Gold campaign, I have really mastered supply and marshaling of forces. On expert, I have punished my enemies and conquered so easily that not a single Phalangite has been routed. I have conquered the seas, I have crushed the might Thebes and Corinth and now proceed to smash the Persians with the full weight of Empire behind me.

Just got to say, what a hell of a game.

It is a unique game too bad its not getting the recognition it deserve.
