Somewhere during the campaign I got Praxiteles the sculptor.

I can't figure out what to do with him... I took him to Pella, put Philip there at the same time... just stays there.

Any hints? I have read all the objectives and can't find anything.

Thanks!

Praxiteles is the one you need to escort to the Amazon shrine (one of the labours of Hercules objectives) on the far northeastern part of the map near Roxolani. If you have a rather safe supply corridor (of even conquered that whole part of the map) you can send him on his own into the vicinity of the shrine and forget about him.

Thanks. Found it.

Meanwhile, after conquering the whole northern part, I figured out what I *should* have done... I should have conquered it East to West by using triremes full of grain to move troops from one town to the next and avoid starvation and defeat... would have been much easier...

anyways, next time :)

It's definitely possible to do this conquest without triremes or other grain carriers. Hint: A "main street" (100/wk) to Pella costs as much as a main street from one of the cities to its neighbouring city, but Pella should have a little bit more grain stored...

Or just push from Northern Ilyria - once you get first fertile city, you are covered.
