The logo for DX-Ball 2 as seen in the title screen image of the game's Gfx directory, is it derived from a font or is it an actual font that can be downloaded somewhere?

Chance had it I would discover the font to be a derivation of none other than miss Times New Roman. Kind of ironic, as I was totally not expecting that, in spite of this hidden notion of just knowing, like, "hey, guess what: it's actually Times New Roman. Yeah. Bet'cha hadn't seen that one coming, eh!"
