dear friends, i just returned from a trip to the old capital of Philip, Aiges, which today is in the village of Vergina, in Greece

i have not played the game yet, but the video looks good, and i felt that i should send a note about names, so that this good game is correct when it comes to its name

the name of the "territory" where Philip was king is Macedonia, not Macedon

Macedon is a man coming from Macedonia

i invite all of you friends who like the game to try and visit the area where his old capital is, and see for yourselves the museum, the grave of Philip and the treasures

unbelievable!

after your visit you can visit the area and taste one of the best red wines in the world!

keep well

Macedon - ancient Greek Μακεδών MakedÅ?n, poetic Μακηδών MakÄ“dÅ?n - The Μακεδόνες Makedónes, were part of the Μακεδνοί Makednoí tribe which initially settled western, southern and central Macedonia and founded the kingdom of Macedon.

In ancient times land boundaries weren't as rigidly defined as in modern times and thus kingship was more often over people than over land.

Thus, "Philip of Macedon" is a correct usage.

It took a lot longer when I accidentally made him lose his post!

(Turns out the back button in IE doesn't save the text in your forms. Oops!)

"Philip of Macedon" is the same as like "Arthur, King of the Britons" ;)
