Due to issues with my 10 year old XP box, it's time to put TM on my vista machine. I think I have it figured out, just need some confirmation.

It sounds like all I need to do is copy the existing install to the new PC in a non-"program files" directory. I know a copied install works, so is it really just that simple?

that's all my other-other brother did on his vista laptop...
at least it is easy enough to try.
actually, i can't remember the last time i did a "proper" installation of TM...
all i have ever done is copy the folder over... much simpler since i've been using
macs and linux with crossover for so long now.
