Hi I have been playing strategy games for about 8 years and I have just stated playing Hegemony and I have to say I like the game concept, but the game controls are horrible. There is a lot of strategy games out there that all have similiar controls and simialiar ways of doing commands, but not Hegemony. I think you need to look at this seriously for any new versions.
For example how do you automate gathering of food, I have followed the manual instructions but they do not match what comes up on the screen, so at the moment I am manually ordering citizens to gather the food and then deliver it and then send them out again, crazy. but it not just these controls there is loads more.
Regards,
John
Click on a city, then right click on the farm you want to make a supply route with. Food will automatically pass along the route if unblocked. The amount depends on the capacity of the supply route (longer means less capacity, with the minimum being 15 for land routes. Sea routes are always 100.) and the amount of food the farm can give to the city. Different seasons have different food production rates. Farms will also store food if they can't ship it to a city, and will use that store whenever production goes under the capacity of the trade route.
