I just learned about Hegemony Gold yesterday... and I was sad to hear that the Gold free key giveaway is over. I am readily happy to finance the Gold version as it add so much depth and improvement. However I would like to know how much an upgrade from Hegemony would cost for my friend whom I am buying the original as a Christmas gift for, as he is much more of a strategy fan than me but he runs a tight budget. I know the PoM campaign would give him hours of fun, but I would like for him to get the Gold version for even more hours of fun.

We plan to sell Hegemony Gold for $29.99, with a 10 buck upgrade for those who own Hegemony: Philip of Macedon.

We think that's fair, especially given the great holiday sale on Steam.

We're hoping to release Gold sometime after the end of January, making it a good bargain to buy POM on sale and then upgrade to Gold when it comes out.
