I found this game on Steam and I must say this is the best 20 bucks I have spent on a game :)
For me the most enjoying factor is that you can loose battles. With most strategy game you play certain missions which you can't really loose, because one it means game over and second they are not that hard. With HPOM it is an ongoing campaign, with allot of directions to go. Most battles are winnable, but sometimes you are overwhelmed or you run out of food supply and you have to fall-back. Off course the game is similar to Total war, but it plays allot easier and it a good balance between strategy, tactics, economics.
For me the only downside is you can't stop playing and it has been a while since a game is that addictive :)
I am looking forward to the next version and if may make one suggestion for the next theatre of war; early Italy, when Rome was not yet a dominate factor...
