I thought it it might be a good idea to recruit Hoplites and Mercenary Cavallery,

but the Illyrian spam with Peletasts, so I do win on open terrain,
but:
in the areas around their cities u get small canyons and when they start a couter attack and got 5-9 Peletast in a row, u loose quite fast, when stuck in the canyon.
My units route or got killed one by one, as they did line up to move through the canyons.
The massive rain of Spears eliminate them in 1-3 second.
So it´s very very hard and frustrating to fight in that areas.
Fortunately the Athens Triremes are not so agressive as in Version 1.0.
But I start again, on the lower difficulty than normal.
Maybe I also should spam with Peletasts.
The Catapult are no use - too slow, too few shots per second, no defence. Version 1.0
