Whatever happened to that little app someone created ... was it Dreamer?? It would tell you basically what servers were up, and who was playing. Saved you the time of cranking up TM if you just wanted to know if there was anyone out there.

At least I think that's what it did. I seem to recall that it was a little buggy, but the author offered it to the community as is . It was a few years ago. Or was I dreaming?

IIRC that was a webpage on Joe Boomstick's site.

yah there was my website, and I also released small program that connected to my website and listed the server and players. It was called TMServerSpy .

There was also the master client (From LDA?), but that didn't tell you who was online. Only what servers had how many people on.

sure enough ... found it on my hardrive.
Had to blow a little bit of TCP/IP dust off of it, but it still works!

I suspect a lot of players still use it, cos within 2 games (usually) people start to join whatever server im on... then the word seems to spread.
