It's been a while since I've done any decent modding...

And it has been a while since many of us modders have done a good amount.

So perhaps we can make some more community content or something? If anything I would like to make another modpack and hopefully someone will work with me on it. As I now have some more time, we gotta keep TM alive. And I think modding is the best way to do this.

That rush ya get when something comes together perfectly. We all could use some refreshment, and let's see how far we can push TM's engine with what we have. How radically can we alter this game with just mods? Who knows maybe we'll impress Rick enough to get the Source code....

Oh and Dennis...I will be running MSN on my computer again if you want to work together again...or if anyone wants to work with me again I will be on MSN. And if you want my MSN name just PM me or send me an email or something...

Well can you guys do any modding? Well even if you have ideas that is fine just PM em to me. Hopefully though I can get some of the better modders out of hiding and we can all put something together. If we don't then oh well I will do my best to come up with something different.

I was thinking of something that would be great if the game as a field of protection Anti attacks :oops:

I could send in my current mods consisting of my battleship gun, but I have a tweak to make to it...same with aircraft carrier *planes too strong*

With some new idea can create a new modpack :wink:

Some New Tanks Would Be Nice For a New Mod.I Have A Few Mods Of My Own As Far As Tanks Go. But They Use The Meshes that Other People Created and the projectiles are modified from other peoples projectiles that other people created.

Well unique tank meshes aren't a big deal to me, it's pretty simple to make tanks out of pre-existing TM meshes as I have done in several modpacks. However I really would like to see what we can all do with just the materials provided already.

Strictly for my own information, what is required to get into modding?

Minimum hardware recommendations? What software? Once one is set uo with those, what does one practice on to ain an understanding of what the heck one is doing? Any recommendations?

Not that I have tons of spare time, (or talent!) but I do like to learn new things.

To mod Treadmarks what the only software you need is Windows notepad or something that edits text...

And from there you can follow the readme files inside the TM directory where the moddable files are found. I will edit my post later with more information if no one else adds anything.

For you as it is easier, but you should know what to be the first
