A month from christmas, and it's time to start working on the X-Mas pack again. Anyone who's up to moding some new goodies for it, go for it!

I haven't modded in so long I still have a pack waiting to be finished because I ran out of ideas....and my milkshape3d trial period ran out a while ago don't have money to register it and blender doesn't work on my comp

I would give it a shot...but It's hard to make something Christmassy...

I dunno...I shall see what i can come up with, perhaps a tank that shoots trees maybe.

Oh the nostalgia. Mario Bros games: so many hours, so many Goombas, so many powerups. I think I will go play SM3 in a little while here. heh.

Thaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaank you. The holiday mod pack is my second favourite of all of them. I love playing on the Yuletide TM Server.

I know what can be done! I am going to put my nose to the grindstone and revamp the tanks and give them more Christmas cheer. Texture tweakage and and make the Tankgun look festive :). That is the only thing that has not been done for that mod pack... and I may contribute one of my weapons that is unique to me and a not similar to other weapons... I just gotta find one xD.

EDIT: It just occurred to me that the Liquid tanks might be an issue with this so I have elected that for the Liquid type tanks i will be making them either Red, Green, White/Silver, Gold, or purple. But no mixed colors like the Steel tanks. But hopefully these will look nice.

EDIT2: I am done, after a few hours of working it I am finished. I added in my weapon PPC And re-named it Christmas Spirit It is a nice homing weapon, but not super accurate good for medium range engagement, has a good refire rate and good damage. It handles differently than most weapons ever modded.

And I have a nice arrangement of reskinned tanks and a very Awesome re-do of the Tankgun. I made the changes directly to the mod so in an hour or so I will have a download available to those who manage the christmas mod :)

festive indeed!! nice colors, don't know how i could ever go back to the basic browns and olive colors :) yes, a very good and colorful addition to the xmas mod pack.

pretty colors and christmas spirit for everyone :)

i did notice one thing, and it is no big deal to me, but as i was looking through the tank preveiws, just to see what neat colors they are now, the mite tank did not show up in the preview area, where one picks their tank.

As for the mite...I don't know what could be wrong, I will go through the ENT but the only thing i did was add a Texture from the main directory. So it's not like I did much twisting. Hmm, try reloading TM and see if it works. I will check it when I get access to my other comp in a day or so.

i just tried out all of the tanks, and they all work out just fine,
both liquid and steel.
however, if one chooses the mite, it does not show up in a game,
and if you try to turn left or right, then the mite goes into
an endless spiral of circle spins.

i don't mod, so who knows what's going on,
but everything else works and looks just fine, very christmasy indeed.

OK, just played on the Christmas server...with the Trans-Siberian Orchastra in the background. THAT ROCKED. Highly reccomended to all!

I second that. The Snowman and the Suicide Penguins are my favourite weapons on the Christmas Server.
