Uh...not 80GB of ram. Maybe HD space, but not ram. Max ram you can get in a server is 16GBs generally. Most home systems are 1 to 2GBs max.

Memory = ram
Storage space = hard drive space = space

They aren't the same.

Actually, I have seen servers which have gone up to 32GB of ram... however they were more specialized for running multiple virtual machines... and had a ton of hard drives for each virtual machine...
Just to let you know, I have 2x120GB 7,200RPM hard drives... UDMA 5 though... and they are both Seagates.

You can get boards that can take up to 4GB now.

Mac Pros go up to 16GB - that's nice :)

wow 16...i'll imagine 20GB will be next year... lol some people still have a HD that big :shock:
I wish apples had 3 button mice, that one button freaks me out... I feel trapped or something...

Pab, it's easy enough to get a multi-button mouse for a Mac, the two I inhereted each came with mult--button mice; now I have an iMac G4 PPC Ubuntu workstation that holds down a piece of floor in my office and another G4 tower holding down a filing cabinet. Neither has enough RAM to run OSX so they aren't much more than gomi in my world but, they work.
