Hey,
I was playing around with the laser and trying to give it a larger range. How would I do this for a 'HitScan=1' weapon?

Thanks!

Well, two things to look at:

Time to live
Speed of the bolt

Technically all HitScan does is it determines whether the weapon hits based on tank positions when the weapon is shot, not when the projectile actually hits the tank.

Increasing speed of the laser isn't recommended because of hit detection isn't detected at every point along a projectile's path, but only at specific time interval distances. That is the reason there are terrain piercing weapons...but such weapons can completely miss a tank by being too fast an the detect points are on either side of a tank.

Nor me XD

Out of interest, my Zero Hour Combat rifle was super fast, does that mean if I put in the hitscane line it would possible just go straight through an enemy??? o_o
