Bored of the map order. How about a random reshuffle of the default map order on LDA?

:)

I thought less mountains was a better way to go, and still is... but the 18 current maps (or whatever's count) has been growing old....lol
...some of us played a couple rotations in one day lol

Perhaps adding all maps possible, shuffle them (one time) and create a new rotation....
.... well if I could do something about it, I would balance them alternating sizes (big map: tons of mountains, spikes, rivers, etc) with 1 or 2 small maps (caldera).... and so on...

Well, I should probably let you guys argue this over for a while, but I am paying attention to the thread.

Pablito, I'd be up for that as long as we removed the psycodelic maps that kill my eyes :)

The ones that have flashy colors... those that stop me from playing quake, doom, UT, brain-seizure-alike neon blinding color games ones?
Perhaps...
but If it wasn't for the brightness of it...
remember the one that moves and has tons of holes and the one with a blue sky....(i kind of like them)...

Agreed.

We can always cut some out in 6 months when we get bored of the really annoying ones :)

Thanks for the new maps, but the rotation's random sequence is unjust (keeps on repeating maps or choosing the same frequently).
Is it possible to have a rotation going without random selection? (as before). Ty!

Yep, something seems off.

Rick: Are all the maps in there right?

Okay, I've shuffled them around and turned off the automatic randomization.

There was probably a problem with several of the maps because some of those quotes 666 posted were stylized left and right quotes instead of the normal quotes Tread Marks expects; probably just because he edited it in Word or something. In any case, that's fixed, so there should be less problems.

I wrote a quickie program (only seven lines, thanks to the C++ STL!) to shuffle lines around, so I can reshuffle the map list pretty easily when you guys get bored with it.

Can you stick it on a cron job to run monthly? :D

I could, but the server would still need to be restarted manually, so it would be a little silly. I'll try to remember to do it once a month, though.
