Actually, its +5, because it includes the base version of the weapon. The pluses are just upgrades.

I've also just built some reflective armor. It is weak compared to your spell, and only adds +1 to the level of the weapon. However, it is always on as long as it is not destroyed. It still takes damage, though, so I can't solely rely on it to do the job later on, as it is very hard to build compared to my normal armor.
