is there an ent command that lets you put a second entity on a tank. like a laser?

nope. You COULD hijack the bauble ent, but the tank won't work in teams.

Hiya- one thing they did way back that was similar kind of - was changing the mandatory projectile for each of the various tank types. Think it was the Kasplatt Add Ons Pack. (And yes I know that is not adding a new entity - just trying to be helpful. JT)
