Below is the part of the text from the object file in afterburner. The problem with afterburner is that in the straights is does not push you any fast than without the afterburner. So....I want more power, just not sure if is the speed or splashpush. Speed is not mentioned in the readme files.

class = projectile
type = aftburner
name = "afterburner"

speed = 15
#meters per second
timetolive = .1
damage = 0
#hit strength

kick = 15
#amount of speed to impart to target in collision.

gravity = 0

#collide = 1
#mass = 1
SplashPush = 60

next weapon in racing will be this one...going to use the mite in the ring map and set the top speed for 200 mph.

That should start to break some records.

Well, actually it is the speed that makes the difference. Set speed = 30, and I get my 200mph with the mite on the ring.

Though it is somewhat unstable...will need to refine it and calm down the afterburner affects...to hard to see where you are.

I think I will call it the sonic jet...LOL

In fact, messing with the splashpush or kick when you increase the speed will only send you tumbling.

I will work with the speed. But it is cool. In desert divas map with a drawf...I was hitting 125mph. Very cool...yes, it will be time to shatter some speed records...LOL
