In using TMapper, I was trying to get the crystal3 mesh higher so that CTF players have a direction to the flag. But any negative or positive value I put into the Yvel feild has no effect. Am I doing something wrong?

quite like the crystal3.ent is over riding the map ent. this line in particular;
GroundOffset = 6
meaning put the crystal 6 meters up. if players are going to have to dl the map, write a new ent (crystal4?) and use a higher number. would be my choice

Yup....and you can even get it to rotate, too...

ConstRotate = 0, 30, 0

I think it's setup like this:

first one is x (horizontal-pitch up/down axis)
second is y (vertical-pivot left/right axis)
third is z (horizontal-bank left/right axis)
