Author Topic:   Want to know if Team1 is always the same color?

I am currently working on a CTF map and I was wondering if the team1, team2, team3, etc…are always the same color. Would like to put a mesh close to the flag that would have the color of the flag. For example, I would use the black steel tower on a hilltop close to the black flag.

Why you ask?

Well, when I first spawn back into a CTF game, my first question is where am I. Often times I still don’t know what side I am on till I can see the flag itself. That is, if the flag is there. Therefore I am looking for a permanent marker that will allow quick recognition of the flag color and where you are when you spawn. I would put the marker, mesh, on a hilltop where all could see from a distance.

well looking at the team flag ents 'entities\flags' I would have to say yes flag colours\team pairings remain the same

Don't ferget that TM will "mirror" the map at times. Killer had the same problems when he was setting up this TeamCTF maps...
