Most of you reading this are probably using the full version of Tread Marks, but if there is anyone out there who, like me, is stuck with the demo version who knows how to make downloadable maps work with the demo, could someone post that on the web site?

Howdies Matthew and welcome to the forums!

Unfortunately, the demo is hard coded to use only the one demo map. It's one of the methods the LDA has implemented to protect their intellectual rights on the game. So you really can't make the demo work with other maps.

If you really like the game and want to support LDA (who are a great bunch of people) is to buy the full version. These people are only a small company. Show yer support by making the purchase.

I bought the retail version (about 2 yrs ago) off the shelf at the local store (when they were on the shelf) fer $30. I believe I have easily enjoyed my investment in the game. You can do it, too...

Actually, there is a way to play the modded maps but it is more trouble than it is worth.
