i don't think so... but i've wondered the same thing, and would like to try out the 'SecondaryMesh' entity command within a RaceTank entity to see if that works.

if anyone tries that out, let us know...

i am going to try that out at some point. i was going to put a rotating spring shape arround a tank barrel, just for fun and to see if it would work. ill post it in here when i do.

Also, I don't mean animate the skins, will skins to, but can you animate THE MODEL.

I want to make a mod and it's kind of a crucial(?) aspect.

ya cant animate a bmp anyway needs to be a gif.... unsure on the model - ill check.

as far as i know, you can't animate the tank models... unless the 'SecondaryMesh' entity command will work in the RaceTank entity files.

LDA is looking into animating the treads (see second post of LDA Update? post).

LDA: maybe you can also allow further animation of tank models as well, so that ideas such as Retro's can be implemented.
