I added a tutorial on how to create LUV files for steel tanks in Tread Marks:

I just want to say it's just a tutorial, so the final tank texture is not
that great. I can do a much better job if I spent more time on texturing
than programming.

Ok, I didn't like some parts of the tutorial, so I updated it.

I'm texturing each part separately now, and it looks much cleaner.

I colored the parts, so you can see how good the mapping is when
it is applied.
