couldnt agree more neo, as i stated before im all for helping the LWA do things right and get off the ground, i want nothing more than to see organised matches that ppl can simply enjoy - as for deso, well i also agree theres gonna be rvalry and Eliteness setting in, or the appearence of such.

To clarify for anyone reading this - I SUCK - mainly cos im making my bz3 with realworld gravity settings, plus loadsa non practice time. Some of my guys are recruited from Tmand so are good, some have crossed over from BZ and are still getting used to it, but the dnx ethic is that as long as ppl have fun then who cares.

As for spoofed emails, i actually dont care, its easy to delete such things, i just thought you should be aware of its occurrence.

Server pinging, ip scanning, pingflodding ips and ports happens everyday in bz, so im quite used to it, NK-Galway gets 7000 ish hack attacks every day from rival clans.

The goal here however is to encourage more online play and get more ppl interested in the game. That said, i only stay where im wanted, i wont be ousted out by dickheads, but if the feeling becomes more global, i will close dnx in tm for the good of the game.

DNX may be comming accross as hostile due to the appearance of "TEAM" when ppl join a server - i think its fair to state that unless all dnx are on one team its an FFA (free for all) game. And to be brutal, were just not that good at teaming anyway.

What we want to see is more clans appearing or being created to create competition.

to this end myself and lorddrow have addopted the ModMonkeys idea - they will play with the MM prefix but be a "sub-clan" of dnx thus creating the appearance of equal players of MM, DNX and hope fully TC, BWL and LWA - see 5 teams already.

MM is now actively recruiting, note that MM members are also DNX members, they will simply wear a slightly different uni in the game to give the visual appearance of fairness.

It is my hope that this move will encourage more players to join in and have fun rather than feel dominated. I also hope that members of LWA follow the same example and split off into more formal style clans. BZ Started like this and its still going strong 4 years later - we can make it work fellas, we just need rid of the bad apples.

Lets do this for each other, and for the dream that seamus had.

BZ3 will be ready soon, and support sites have begun springing up. Momentum is growing, lets just keep the ball rolling.

Neo - des, your thoughts ?

oh and ps: wm's comments were taken as jovial were actually quite good friends already

Yeah! What Matrix, Neo and Deso all said. It really fits with my ethics folks. I play for the fun of it, my involvement with a Clan is to join with a hopefully like minded group of players that are actually here to have FUN. I blast anyone that is not on my team, doesn't matter what clan markings they are flying.
Fun and fair play are what we are here for, not all this durned back biting and bitching, so lets all get out there and waste somebody for the Gipper.

Huh. Not every day you see the word gangbang on a family friendly forum. I thought I was on my other favorite site for a moment.

lol, deso.

Ok guys, well it looks like we're all on the same page here... Though I don't quite know exactly what you meant by being "ousted by dickheads", Matrix.

If you are referring to LWA, then... As I said before, LWA is not trying to oust you or anybody else, to my knowledge. If it were, rest assured that I would be rather disappointed and would put a stop to it as quickly as possible. ...Oh and I don't think we're dickheads either.

If you're not referring to the LWA, then....my apologies, lol.

Anyways I appreciate your MM subdivision idea and I like the sound of it. Even if it provides an illusion of equality, it can help put to bed the idea that it's "DNX vs. everybody", which seems to be causing a lot of beefs (beefs? ha!).

And I agree with you; in due time, I think we will see more formal clans appear, perhaps some even including current LWA players. For the time being, however, I agree with LD and think we should all just "get out there and waste somebody for the Gipper".

...Not that I know what a gipper is, but it sounds really very patriotic and inspiring.

Matrix - maybe you should consider opening MM for other players, as well: There are true mod monkeys outside of DNX...

Mod Monkeys IS open to outsiders Dreamer, thats the idea.

As for the reference to DICKHEADS, no i dont mean LWA, i mean those who use differing names and stoopid attempts to discredit and annoy others - by ousting i mean we wont be pushed away so easily by the aforementioned dickheads.

you know i went on the kersplatt this morning and saw myself - an AI bot ! AI-Matrix.. i mean WHAT !

lol

think ill make dnx members as ai's for the release of bz3 ! hmph lol !!!!!

- that was a joke by the way for the humourless out there lol.

desolation1900: The thing with the rivalry I couldn't agree with you less. I think its quite possible to have several active clans and still maintain a senseof civilry.

I'm starting to come to the conclusion that if a clan is made solely of the best of the best players, something like what you said may happen. But when you take an assortment of skilled and unskilled players all that happens is a "good time".

That's why we select most our members via the "nice person" and "(potentially) valuable community contributor" criteria...
(We really could use some more fragmasters, though...)

exactly right dreamer - as i previously stated "were not the best" - "we dont aim to be the best" - "we have good and bad players" - "FYI i suck"

Ive seen "eliteism" before, its not a pretty sight.

That's always fun. Playing with 2-4 on 1 is pretty good practice. It makes you think about your approach, and forces you to make every shot count.

Dreamer : MM is for anyone that is interested in playing and has an interest in helping the community by modding. If you are interested in joining, drop me a line. Hoping to have things in full swing for a website and all pretty quick here. Any suggestions for help and content would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Treads,
I feel compelled to tell about some very fun LWA vs DNX matches that went on late Friday night. There were 4 LWA's (myself included) happily blasting away in Kasplatt when DNX- Nukem popped in. I believe he offered that there were 3 DNXers on another server that he could get for a friendly battle. He came Back with 2 so I went out and found Super and we all played about 3 games of 2 team deathmatch. All in all I would say it was highly civil, everyone was being great sports, and Most importantly it was a blast with some great playing on both sides. There was no drops ('cept Vlad - I think his fingers fell off from playing all day ), no bitching, and no insults.

I hope that we can get some more of that action going in the upcoming weeks as team battles kick @ss!

Yeah that was a lot of fun--

Then just last night =DNX=NUKEM and I played a bit in Skan's DDM server. It was very civil, and we even played on the same team against all the AIs. We won too.
