Now that Sun's "Project Looking Glass" is open-sourced, accelerated 3D-desktops are almost here...Less polished, but already in an (almost) usable state: Metisse - fully 3D windows on flat desktops. Linux only and well worth the hassle of compiling the thing. IP: | |
