In my last post to the bboard (sunday apr18, 0500) I made a comment about the weather forcast...well at aprox 1830 cdt the wind was howling through the pwrlines, then it got louder accompanied by a loud cracking noise followed by the house shaking, lites blinked & went out. shortly after that discovered a gas leak. had a 60' tree branch land on the roof(broke a supply line) and a somewhat shorter one took the electric meter off the house. finally got the gas leak repaired today and the gas reconnected (cats were going ' warm at last, warm at last...'). next week I get the 'fun' task of finding a roofer to repair the roof (sigh) been a looong week

I'm glad for you that there wasn't an explosion to go along with that gas leak. Glad to see that you are back in the swing, so to speak
