Pentium III 733MHz 256MB RAM ATI Rage Fury Pro 16MB SB Audigy 17" Monitor (as if that really matters) 52x Sony CD-ROM 8/4/32 Sony CD-RW (that doesn't matter either) 17.2GB HD (very small but sufficient so far) 10/100 3COM LAN card (4 computers on the network, only 3 run TM, only 2 work correctly) Windows 98 SE (XP still has way too many bugs and will screw up my network if I install it)It's a little custom built machine but I've been upgrading as I go along and it works very well for every game I've played (except the Driver series...that's a different story). Unfortunately I haven't broken the 1GHz barrier yet but I hope to do that real soon--hopefully I'll get a job or something so I can get some cash. Anyway, it runs every single one of LDA's games with excellent graphic and sound quality (the explosions in TM have very good bass ). Well this (in my opinion) is pointless but I like bragging about my mediocre machine so it's ok! ~Scott Jr. [This message has been edited by STJR64 (edited January 07, 2002).] IP: |

Would make a good linux test box though...one dell desktop, P3 550, 32Mb diamond viper 770U (32m tnt2), with 512 Mb ram. This is where I run my server. one dell laptop, P3-M 1.13 Ghz, 32Mb GF2, 15 inch screen, 1400x1050 native res, 384Mb ram. IP: |
