It may seem simple to wondeful programmers such as yourselves BUT, does anybody have some source for c++, or an equation for a simple tank game (where you try and hit the other tank by entering the angle and power) Thank you for any help. Maybe some time in the future I willbe answering questions, instead of asking them. ------------------ And that's the end of that chapter! IP: |

go to www.scorch2000.com (java version of original "scorched earth" tank game) and check the links. you might also want to email the authors there for source code & questions...IP: |

if anyone'll still be reading this (it's pretty useful), a good book to learn C++ is C++ for dummies and once u learn that, more C++ for dummies. c++4dummies comes with a compiler, but it's in .zip format. a good book for learning directx programming with c++ is 3d game programming with C++ by john de goes. it comes with some useful software and has source code------------------ I came. I saw. I fixed everybody's computers. [This message has been edited by spartan (edited August 09, 2002).] IP: | |
