I had the fortunate opportunity to meet them all during their visit to id Software. They were all such a joy to talk with and I can't believe that this has happened. When he came down, I honestly thought that he was going to make it. I am utterly stunned and overwhelmed with sadness since has not.

It is an absolute crying shame that this has occured, life can certainly be unfair.
