...as for now, without sources. uses 512x512 textures, so you need to do a bit of tweaking if you're on a Voodoo...Please please please read the README file first. http://glpexeso.webjump.com/glter.zip IP: |

UPDATE:on a Voodoo it _won't_ work unless you change the "TextureSize" param to 256 in the config file and re-run the heightfield generator PERLIN.EXE; The skyboxes will be scaled OK, though, courtesy of the excellent glPNG library. I get something like 50 fps with 2000-3000 triangles, and around 25-30 fps with 8000 triangles on CPUs in the PII/400 range, on videocards from Savage3D to TNT2M64. Unfortunately, my code seems to be the bottleneck, not the video card - it's not fillrate limited below 800x600. Note: The ZIP file weighs around 1.3 MB. Most of it are the skybox textures, sorry :-) IP: |

Here's a URL with a more recent version and a screenshot (so, hopefully, somebody will take a look at it at last :-)): http://glpexeso.webjump.com/glter/index.html

Yes, please take a screenshot with and without fog. I seem to have problems with the fog on my Savage3d, and SGI's software renderer is waaay too slow to debug with it...IP: |
