There's a bunch of guys on LDA right now. I was there for awhile, but then one of the "barf" maps came up, and I took a break.

well, it's supposed to be on the LDA main server, and the other servers were supposed to be off.

ok, but the LDA server is setup for teams. Is that right? Just asking ... we'll play regardless.

Also, the LDA server is set up for 16 players max, and it's full.
So it looks like the overflow is going to Dinochrome Brigade.
Looks like the picture is off then, since not everyone will be able to be on the same server.

ok ... time to start planning for Birthday Bash 2006.

Maybe we'll have enough time to get all the details worked out in time.

Did anyone send the guys at LDA an email telling them about the B-day bash?

I saw the preparations, but we were busy moving into a new condo on the weekend... still here in downtown Toronto.

We'll try to be available to show up on the field of battle next year.

Maybe it didn't happen the way intended. But it is good to know that participation is alive and well. Next year, hopefully, with more understanding and organization, we ought to have unlimited space.
I wasn't aware of the limited space at LDA, that is why it was proposed to be then only server running, to hold as many players and avoid lag. I'm sad we couldn't gather everyone, it would of being nice to see 20+ tanks or so. But maybe we can take a rain check...? once someone can host at least 25 tanks...?

er...my fault...I had suggested that we use the LDA main server ...and... I forgot all about checking the dedicated.cfg file.

Please forgive.

There I go, mixing up movie quotes in my head again, although I admit that I was remiss in not first checking my dog-eared script.

Upon reflection, my misquote actually had a dash of Ghostbusters in it, wherein the possessed Dana Barret (Sigourney Weaver) growls, "There is no Dana, only Zuul."
