Oh, just a bit more information about the GIMP (GNU Image Manipulation Program) is that it is an open source project (that I am not involved in) and it's just about as good as Adobe Photoshop CS minus the fancy details and stability. It's a great program to have, and use, editing pictures is quite easy. Also, thanks for the DPA history lesson. and lastly, I juat got permission from my parents about signing up for the DMF forums and all that good stuff! YAY! Now, I will have to just work on it for a while and soon team MOD will become Clan Mod, and so on and so forth, of course, that is still many months away, so I guess I'd better start cracking...

Well atm its down for monthly backups, maintenance and a few other bits... so look for the forums tomorrow onwards.

What was their initial problem with DMF ? feedback is always welcomed, good or bad.

So I was wondering, is the official number to be considered a clan 3 or 5?

Gimp is good, but its a royal pain to select the right downloads and install it. Its better to get Paintshop Pro then head over to cracks.am and register it.

Oh... sorry... I forgot about the part about the little bit of digging part... sorry. The easiest way is to click GIMP for WINDOWS, then click on the Automated installer, then download, then yer on your way
Or... just follow this link... http://gimp-win.sourceforge.net/stable.html My suggestion is to just download all four of the downloads from the link above, and then just install GTK+, then GIMP, then the other 2...

Team Modulus is now consisting of the members

Yep... it is now a 2 member team! Now... I must continue to juggle in my life, school, donating CPU cycles, and the setting up of Team Modulus... (Logo, Website, Forum)... however, I think it's a good idea if the Modulus forum stays here... besides... it's where most people post anyways... Oh... before I forget, I got Microsoft Office FrontPage 2003... I will first get used to the program, then use it to create a webpage... but that's still all in the coming weeks... and I am sure this will take a while... but at least Team Modulus is off to a good (maybe not exactly smooth) start...

I have decided that the official forum of Team Modulus will be here, and also, when making a logo(s), what are the dimensions of the logo(s) that I have to make?

flags are 128 x 128 8bit colour bmp's
note it is easier(for me) to start with 24bit colour then do a 'colour reduction' to 256 colours(8bit) this of course depends on your image program, irfan view does this nicely. simple flags oft times turn out looking better (imo)

Coaxs is right jujuga, if you use your custom flags on stock servers, the errors it delivers is unsermountable...

If you want ppl to see your flag, they should have it on their systems, in otherwords, send it to harmless to be included in the master flag pack.

Flags WILL NOT sync along with the ents when connecting to a stock server, syncing is an ents only thing, to see graphics, ppl MUST have them, meaning a download of some kind.

666 still needs to add your clan (and flag) to the clan battle team pack too, this means you get a clan team name assignmement for use in clan battles.

Here's the status of my progress...
1) It was a hard decision, but I got rid of all the mods on TM (I will wait until there is an error free FTnCD pack)
2) Have cleaned up my whole computer (it needed one right about now), got my four existing flags all set up and packaged (not with ENTregrety, cuz for some reason, it won't make the zip file... I don't have Winzip as the default for opening .zip files, and I don't plan to... so I packed it all together myself...)
3) I am currently about to add the 5th flag in (which is the Clan Flag)(I just finished it)
4) I have started researching about modding (it's actually very interesting and isn't as hard as I thought it would be)
5) I have downloaded tmedb from http://treadmarks.vorklift.com and am using it (quite helpful)
6) I am working like crazy on my Homework (there's a lot... )

I was just wondering, for the Colored lasers packs, I found 2 of them... what should I do, install pack 2 only, pack 1 only, or both with 1 first and then 2 right after?

Also, a note to random chaos... your ENTregrety download file is 1.15, not the latest which is 1.16, I just wanted to point that out...

Also a thing I would like to mention, I have Winzip Self-Extractor, and the full version, so would it be a good idea for me to package all my .zip files with that?

Lastly, is there any more formats on making flags other than ones with the Insignia section that I should know of? I want to know if I have to make banners, or other logos in other formats... if you know what I mean...

Well, that get's you prietty much updated on what I am doing... yep

P.S. If you don't mind, would you check out http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org and if possible join up for the cause? And if you join it, would you also mind joining Team "Modulus" found at http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/team/viewTeamInfo.do?teamId=63B1GN1RGN1 ? It's kinda lonely being the only member of that team...

for full effect you should get 'color laser 2b' (least I think that 1 is complete)

So that means I should only download and install Color Lasers 2b, and only 2b?

at the moment I know of no servers running any version of them so the choice is yours. IIb has 7 colors (and damage varies by color, though its not really a large diff.). 1st ver. only had 6 colors and stock damage.

Yay! I'm back! Right after that happened, the computer completely crashed... I couldn't log in, play games, anything... I eventually had to wipe out everything and reinstall Windows XP, then patch it with SP2 (no problems with installing it and using it), reinstalled every single program, and so on and so forth. Note to myself and to anybody else who is reading with this post, never mess around with anything in %WINDOWS%\System32, especially ntoskrnl.exe ... I learned it the hard way, I was trying to mod the boot screen, and apparently it backfired so much, I couldn't even restore the backup I made for it... anyways, I'll continue patching up my system and I should be back to my usual activities by the end of the week... see ya around...

I understand its fairly easy to mod the boot screen...if you're willing to pay ms for the program( I'm not, besides it doesn't stick around long(boot screen))

Ok, the thing is, after that fiasco, I am NOT going to EVER touch the boot screen AGAIN! I just don't want to go through that painful process again... oh, by the way, I just realized that when I was changing ntoskrnl.exe, for some reason, the computer changed a registry key, and I don't know which one it is... anyways, that's all in the past now... now to go forward in everything else...
