Welcome to the board Carnage, and glad to see that you joined the CAT Clan, after all if you don't join a real clan like GA  then they are a good second. I would say long time no see, but you were fragging me just last night.------------------

The Spring elections for Pike County, Kentucky, in 1880 provided the next occasion for the eruption of hostilities. This was McCoy country, but Anse hatfield and his two oldest sons, Johnse and Cap, suddenly appeared.
Johnse is said to have been the most likable of the Hatfields; he was also a stylish dresser, popular with the girls. That day he encountered Rose Anna McCoy, Ran'l's daughter. Photographs show her to have been a tall, slender woman with long, wavy black hair. Johnse, immediately captivated, offered Rose Anna a handful of gingerbread and began to chat with her as if there was no animosity between their families. In the relaxed carnival atmosphere of that election day Johnse and Rose Anna fell in love. That night she went to live with him in his cabin.Ran'l was furious when he learned what had happened. He was perhaps even more outrages when the couple split up several months later and his daughter came home a "ruined" woman. An uneasy truce prevailed between the clans, but not for long.
Peace was shattered in August 1882. Once again the occasion was a Pike County election. The corn whiskey flowed plentifully. Soon Ellison Hatfield stirred from a drunken slumber, first to insult Tolbert McCoy, then to attack him. Tolbert and one of his brothers drew knives and stabbed Ellison; a third brother shot him.
Ellison, bleeding profusely from 26 stab wounds and a bullet in his back, was borne away. Anse and his kin quickly rounded up the three McCoys. Two days later Ellison died. The Hatfields tied the three boys, all sons of Ran'l, to pawpaw bushes on the Kentucky side of the river and pumped 50 rifle bullets into them. Violence ebbed and flowed for the next several years. In 1886, for example, Cap hatfield shot and killed Jeff McCoy, who had earlier attacked his cabin. Soon afterward bounty hunters jumped a Hatfield ally, killed him, and brought his scalp to Kentucky for a reward. Ran'l, meanwhile, had been waiting for West Virginia to extradite the Hatfields accused of his sons' deaths. In 1887 he took matters into his own hands, helped organize a raid into Hatfield territory, seized a McCoy who had married a Hatfield, and brought him back to a Kentucky jail.

Well you know, it's the CLAN thing, the GA (?Georgia Atavist?) sniping about real clans that got my hackles up; Didn't much care when it was just me, SSG (missing Smokin Lou still), but now that I got favored uncles and children to protect my hyper vigilence is kicking in.LOL LOL LOL ------------------

Not all of us live in CA., just most of us. I think we still have one on the roll that lives in AZ, and Aragon lives in the North East, and if I am not completely mistaken two of us live here in Texas (one active and the other not). quote:

As we all know, The Taxi is an ackward individual such as his name. Personally I like him and makes my fragging happier (unless he just focuses on me > : )
But his remarks that cats suck, and changing his names to here kitty kitty, which I think are hilarious, have made another impact on the other players on this clan.
So, Taxi; as for me, I don't care what you say or how you act because I know you are just a silly competitive young friday night beer drinker college "dude" But the other players may see you as a disperectful player.
Once you wake up from your hangover, could you let the other clan members know your approach to all these jokes and whatever... I have defended you but they are starting a civil war on me!
I won't say nothing else, because I want to hear what you respond and go from there

The thing about a CAT is, nobody owns them, they tolerate you and require sufficient patronage from you (food, water, kitty litter or your shoe).A CAT can walk through a chess board game without disturbing a piece or, walk through the middle of a room and cause pictures to fall off the wall. ------------------

By now everyone knows I don't have anything against the CLAN... I just dislike the animal. Have you seen how scary wet cats look? Forget CUTE... They look just plain evil.  .   I also hate how cats have mood swings. One second they're sweet, next second they're scratching the heck out of you. Anyways... I do believe that I struck a never with all you cat lovers. Every time I said "cats suck" you would get a new clan member. So.... out of respect for my fellow TMs... no more "cats suck".
I still like dogs better.
