I am a novice user of TM. I just installed a Logitech Extreme 3D joystick. Windows 98 reconizes it but TM tells me that no joystick is installed. What gives?

I don't think TM uses DirectPlay, so it may have trouble seeing USB devices that donot have a joystick port emulation driver.

didn't see my ms sidewinder. course since I don't use a joystick, no biggie. tryed it once(old box, diff joystick) found it cumbersome(but thats my opinion).

Ok, so upgrade to XP might fix my joystick problem? I am using the game port, should I use the USB instead? If that doesn't work I guess I could turn to Sildenafil Citrate ( but then its her joystick). Thanks!

Hopefully its BOTH your joysticks...
I do hear a lot of players using the gamepads... seems to work great.
Me, I'm an ASDW player.
