Well...yeah...I have been reading some of the old programming board...very interesting read. I love the ones of Seumas in the early 1999's. Mind you, I don't understand them quite.

Turn the Conan into a stock Barbarian, fix the draconian and make it double 90mm (price of speed is weight). If anyone noticed a stock Conan fires a tad slower and is in general a sluggish tank.
Killing the sheep would be cool (nice wide red treadmark).
Oh and make the weeble tanks act like ground effects vehicles vs. the super balls most of them are now. A good David Drake read of a couple Hammer's Slammers by a programmer should give them a decent mental picture. It would be kinda cool to see someone figure out an tridirectional firing combat car.

Wishlist:

TM GPL'ed...

16bit Heightmaps (Close to impossible, I know )

More powerful ENT scripting - more power to the ENTs

Better collision detection (think bridges)

More powerups affecting the main gun

A tad more realism in ground physics (think slippery slopes)

Destructible sculpture ENTs - there should be a fairly easy algorithm to dissemble them into all-convex "splinters"
-> Conversion of ENT "splinters" to "ground"

Weather

Free-flowing "water" (Again, that's pretty much impossible)

"Portals" connecting servers

Even more information in the logs - such as weapon pickup and hit recording

Tanks should take damage from collisions

Some of those would be possible with DX build of TMs..

Damage from colisions is already possible, but I don't like the idea, same with slipery slopes. the FUN of treadmarks is that it isn't realistic, lets leave it that way, those two are drastic gameplay changes.

I do like the idea of weather, and collision damage. Maybe collision damage could be something turned off or on my a server operator. It would be interesting for RACING

collision damage is already server op controlled. I think JV did this for his racing mod.

Give ents the option of local (rotate with the ent it is chained with) or global (current behavior) orientation. This would work great with spewers.
