just an interesting little article...

survey results are in:

they like to say that 1/3 of the US is broadband connected.

what is more important is that 2/3 of the US is still using modems.

they also give the results for european usage
of broadband vs modems.

i remember very distinctly my first day using a broadband connection. it was a giddy life-altering event

The slope of the line is linear, thus it looks like another 6 years before the rest of the country is on broadband. And that is if you own a computer.

Anyone know what percentage of Americans own a computer?
