OK - taking requests for the song to play in 2nd Annual Seumas McNally Birthday Bash DDM movie.

It must be a song you own - no ripping illegal stuff.

Led Zep's always good-or some Black Sabbath/Ozzy.

I'm really partial to "Bodies" by Drowning Pool-it's a catchy little ditty.

"Fight Fire With Fire" might be more appropriate for TM, tho. "Seek and Destroy", "Motorbreath", and "Jump in the Fire" are good, too. Ah, heck, just use any Metallica and it'll be good....

Mebbe some polka

I guess my suggestions wouldn't sit very well with the rest of you guys, but I will voice them anyway.

Wagner - Ride of the Valkyries

1812 Overture, I don't think I want to try to spell his name.

------------------
An Irish Blessing
May the road rise to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face.
The rains fall soft upon your fields and,
Until we meet again.
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.

Wagner, an 80's "hair band" member. If so it must be the 1780's or maybe the 1880's then.

I gotta try it, Cyber: Tchaikovsky--am I close?-on sp that is, I wanted to try it without looking it up

Par: Orff's opera "Carmina Burana" would be very good as well. Parts of it have been used in several movies, on TV, etc.

Edit: Fergot to mention that "Carmina Burana" is best heard as a whole. Most of the time only very short parts of the first movement(Fortuna Imperatrix Mundi) are used.

The Ride of the Valkarie sounds pretty good, very fitting. tomorrow if i remember i will try to find a heavier, rougher version with Lime Wire since the orchestra tends to be gentle.

here are a few songs that i have imported into my TM folder rescently. this is really gonna blow up in my face isnt it? i must be the youngest one here and you will all hate my taste in music.

Saliva - Click Click Boom - oh so fitting
System of a Down - Chop Suey - i just liked it and it somehow seemed to fit
Rage Against the Machine - Wake Up - This is one track from The Matrix soundtrack
The Offspring - Defy You - good song and again seemed to fit
Lunatic Clam - Leave You Far Behind - more music from The Matrix

all the songs that i said seemed to fit probably seemed to fit because i like them so much

i can spit out about 120 other tracks in rapid succession if anyone wants them...

what do you mean by "illegal stuff" it is perfectly legal to download music through a file-sharing program as long as no one makes a profit.

Scrap, get to know your court cases. Just recently an isp provider was subpoenaed by a record company to release the name of a user who is suspected of sharing 100s of song files on a peer-to-peer app.

Jeez, I hope not
Wasn't that on a different forum, too? Can't recall mentioning that music here, though I do highly recommend it.

And how far off was I? William Tell Overture is by Rossini. Feels dumb now.

YIKES! "...sharing 100s of song files on a peer-to-peer network..." that could be me! especially when you add in what my mom, dad, and sisters have in the family archive!
