I made my first mod woohoo. Its the St. George flag or England's flag had to do a little reading up on the history. Also this is the stretched version. You can download this from coaxs.net scroll down and it is in the current news section.

I'll also be adding a section where you can learn how to make your own flag it was authored by Neo(aka Flag God) and is what I used to make it.

Neo already made a Scotish flag. I just made an English flag because, I think, most Americans don't know the difference between UK's union jack flag and England's flag.

I know the flag's been around for ages, but I thought the English one had been already too! Thought maybe of another...way of...interpreting the flag! Or how about a great, big scottish ginger fatty, with a 'See You Jimmy' hat on, waving a can of miller under a scotland flag, right after an 'Auld Enemy' win!

Okay, I am sooooo confused. I looked at a neat site that lists flags for countries. Makes interesting vexillology.
From what I gather, the flag for Northern Ireland and England are the same, cross of St George, St Anthony and St Andrew crosses overlaid.
England does have it's own "state" flag, the singular cross of St George (red on white background)
Scotland has its own flag, sky blue background with the St. Andrew's cross (cross diagonally from the corner to corner).
Ireland has only the Union Jack (the three crosses overlying each other)
Wales has its own flag, the red dragon against a green and white background.
Is this the current status of flags in the UK.
This is where I gathered my information: http://www.crwflags.com/fotw/flags/index.html

All the countries within the UK have their own 'independant' flag. Each signifying that the countries are completely independant to one another, even though ran under one government (until 5 years ago, when Scotland gained an independant parliament, through a nationwide vote).

btw fyi, the Scotland flag is also referred to as the 'Soltaire'! There are other countries and provences which share the same flag as St. Andrew isn't only Patriot Saint of Scotland. I think one of the Baltic islands has the St Andrew's Cross also... need more research!
