Also, please note that unless you play horribly its pretty easy to tell when a regular goes incognito. Its so easy to tell when Ras does it, its ridiculous.

Who wouldn't go for the closest kill, or the most flaming tank? I generally don't pay attention to names, unless it is a player I *know* to be much better than I am, then I would be more likely to avoid that player.
I kinda like the fact that Ras and others play under a different name, as I am more likely to engage in a battle with them (vs avoid a battle at all costs ). I have to say, I have learned a lot from watching better players play (LAN parties are great for that) and seeing how they take advantage of different features of the game.
Styles of play vary so much. Keyboard vs mouse, freelook vs not; camera following the tank vs terrain, turning turrets vs sliding, etc

Queen, I differ from you in that I tend to go out after the players I know are good, I usually get spattered all over the landscape, but I still go after them. I guess I like the challenge, the only time I don't do that is when there are two good players working as a team, that situation I avoid like the plague.

I admit that I do go after the flaming tanks et al, though I try not to make a steady diet of them, but I won't ignore them either.

Queen, as you probably have noticed I am a slider for the most part.

Why slide when you can just turn the turret and keep on running circles.

Coax, I just seem to be turretly chalanged is the reason. Though if I can ever get my joystick back to working that might change to a point, but using the keys or my mouse just don't seem to work for me.

I was turretly challenged too. But do you really need all five fingers on the left hand to press spacebar and fire, I use 2 spare fingers to move the turret.

The reason I donít Turret turn is because it makes me DIZZY and I throw up in the tank
(it hell to clean up after battles)

I have tried and just have trouble getting it aimed worth a durn. I usually seem to do better if I just slide.

Oh I see the problem. Just switch the camera view from "camera on front of tank" to "camera on turret" and then wherever the turret turns the camera turns with it.

Actually I already have it that way, and to be specific I don't have much trouble as long as I remember not to mess with the tank controls and just leave them alone. I always seem to turn the wrong way at the wrong time. :-[ :-[

The less health you have , the slower the turret turns .
It's not that useful to me personally .
I use the radar a lot instead of turret cam , I want the camera to follow my tank

I rather have the camera follow my turret, leaves me more dangerous.

Getting back on the topic: I remember playing with Nemisis 27 and getting my butt whipped, but good.
I have to agree w/Coax; experienced player tanks move/shoot differently.
Irascible never moves his turret and from what I can tell is a top player. So, you go girl (B&G Sue)!
If somebody is obviously better than I am, you bet I'm gonna try and frag them every chance I get. They get mad (egos are such fragile things) and start to hunt me, I learn, I die, I get better.

And one more thing, I'll snicker (loudly) about rubber tanks, but I always encourage the new players I see to come back.
