I'm getting set to schedule the next TeamCTF challenge. As before we need a minimum of 10 players, and an agreed upon time, on a friday or saturday night.

Me and Mr Twitch will be on team #1, We need 3 more people on our team minimum.

Clan affiliation is not necessary.

Killer, I would be happy to attend again, as would Jon and David. I work every other weekend, so if it possible to keep that in mind, I would be appreciative. I should be working this weekend, but took a couple vacation days (being that I have accrued more than 10 weeks' vacation, I try to take them when I can) and off next weekend. We *may* be going to in-laws for the weekend, though, so Friday would be better for us

Count me in. As long as I can get my ping to stay down in reasonable range. I don't know why it acted up last time. It wasn't before and didn't after on other servers with just as many players.

Sorry KiLlEr, that snaps it for me...working nights all this month, so that obviously frags a Friday night.
My apologies...I'm sure a replacement can be "co-erced"

OH NO!! September 27th is one day that the Berkeley clan members (666, Jon, and I) cannot attend. Good reason, though. My sister is being inducted into the UCBerkeley Athletic Hall of Fame. We are going to help honor her on this special day. (She used to be team captain for the US Women's Water Polo Team. She is getting this honor for two sports; swimming and water polo) http://www.usawaterpolo.com/manual_news/020516-NATlynnwittstockinduct.htm

(to verify my excuse )

We would love to have you there. You might want to make sure you have all the downloads, Killer just loves to play around with them, and try to get familiar with the tanks and maps. We could probably use you on team two.

Sure glomund jump into team #2 and enjoy

As for the updates, well, the TeamCTF partial conversion has been around for a long time, but very few would play it at the time and so wasn't thoroughly tested. I try to keep changes as server side, until I accumulate enough for an update. THe last one from September the 17th is the last "major" update. Of course, all you would need to DL glomund is the complete archive and your done.

Link to complete archive (11 MB): http://www.boomstickjoes.com/treadmarks/dlmanager.php?FILE=TeamCTF_Complete.zip

and don't forget to have a look at the documentation: http://www.boomstickjoes.com/treadmarks/main.php?page=TCTF/doc_tanks.php&group=TCTF&uid=&

Incidentally, when I mean "update" I mean exactly that "updates".

I'm working on Tower Raids II, which will be a 2x normal size map that will have a tower for each team, as opposed to the original Tower Raids map, where the teams take turns as attackers and defense. Should be done by the beginning of next week.

Tonight, I will put all the current TeamCTF maps into rotation for you all to practice on. The week before the challenge, we can vote to pick which mapset (Original Tower Raids, Death Island, or Parts Thief) the challenge will be played on.

Sounds fair?

Download this complete archive (11 MB): http://www.boomstickjoes.com/treadmarks/dlmanager.php?FILE=TeamCTF_Complete.zip

It contains everything as of last night.

check out the event calender (be sure to set you GMT offset and DST status, and click refresh) for date and time:
