had windows crash and burn this past morn, result> had to do a destructive restore, ICK!!, could some one send me a list of flags in the current pack(last pak I have is dated mar 12) TIA

well late or not thanks to your efforts(Kong & bzp) I find that I've got all but 3 of the flags (most likely the AoD flags)

well drive rescue reads interesting dunno how much it would have helped... after 2 botched nondestuctive reinstall attemepts(with chkdisk thrown into the mix) and only 1 hd
in other news
got the missing flags, have TM reinstalled and patched(thank goodness I had sense enough to at least make some backups on cd). got windoze & norton patched/updated

well ifn they didn't get into the tankmaster file...(grabbed that just after the flags)
surprising how many 'features' I had turned off (and had to turn off again) like the win autoupdate(boy does that ever goof up tm)

Don't have that one - or any other for that matter. But if you can't get it you might also try Kim Commando web site. She has a lot of tools etc Good luck.

Once reconstructed, see if you can find a copy of DR SALMANS POWER TOOLS to tweek up you rsystem. Then grab a copy of NORTON GHOST somewhere and do a volumetric drive copy to another partition.

Then anytime your drive does a crash n burn, just run GHOST from a floppy and unghost the backup onto the reformatted drive or a new drive.

As an extra safeguard, if you can find it, install a copy of GOBACK (symantic i think)... saved my life a few times i can tell ya !

I have the union jack but i have never seen the st, George cross. Think i have seen the saltire. Don`t think technology has reached the Welsh yet.
